Forza 4

787B was a 4 rotor, yep :)

Was driving my MR2 Turbo Engine'd Yaris last night...my god it sucks :D

That wheelbase is way too short for a powerful RWD drivetrain, even pushing 300hp it just cannot put the power down if the wheels are even turned 1 degree, might throw it back to FWD and see what power I can load into it for the hell of it, although with no Aero Parts it does love to dance!

That's a shame. The 787B is probably one of the most glorious sounding cars ever. Love the sound of the idle :D

Didn't get a chance to fire up the game last night to try some silly car/engine combinations last night. Hopefully tonight :D

Can you put a Mustang engine in a Fiesta/Focus? :p


/also needs to get gold subscription again. Where's the best place to get it these days?
 
how do you lot earn some proper CR in fm3? :) - without doing the boring events of course.. any races/tips to get some cash going?

1. Turn most of the assists off. It's worth a 100% cr bonus.
2. Race online with your mates as it's far more fun than pounding around miles ahead of the AI.

I did a couple of 20 minutes races on Sunday night and got around 90000cr for a win and 70000cr for a second place.

For pure money making I think the easiest way was to pound around the Benchmark Super Speedway. Unfortunately it's boring as hell.
 
Since I've not got gold membership at the moment, I just do the one lap Nordsclieffe race over and over in whatever car class I feel like using :)

Had a tonne of fun doing it in a standard TVR Tuscan in the A class event. Really hard work just trying to get a clear gap to overtake, but I've won it 3 times now, each time overtaking the leader with 3-4 corners to go :D

As said above the 787b was a quad rotor, I can't remember if it said but for 3 rotor FM it is either going to be a custom engine or taken from the cosmo s (cosmos s? something like that) Is a good laugh though.

I'll be trying that one later! I've got a Nissan Verso with a fully tuned 370z engine in it which is good fun. But nothing like 900bhp!

Can't you put the R34 skyline engine in it? you could get that upto 971bhp if memory serves. Defo can get that engine in the 1971 skyline :D
 
That 458 looks drop dead gorgeous! :D

@Greboth - Google suggested it was the Cosmo, can remember that car from GT1! :D

Think I might have been able to put the Verso engine in it actually, but decided against it as I already had the 71 skyline - and didn't want another silly car with the same engine :)
 
Game does indeed look to easily be by far the best Forza, really pumped for this more than any previous Forza. I pray the AI will be challenging, not much of an online player, with long working hours often tired in the evenings.

Look forward to you finishing that rig Demon but dont leave it too long to get some Aura Pros or other tactile installed onto it.
What about the Fanatec wheel? Im waiting for the Elite myself.

You maybe read on GTP but I have just ordered a new projector to enjoy Auto Vista. Optoma GT750 (just released in UK this week) Now hows the idea of having a 120" 3D HDMI 1.4 compatible Projector for £600 :eek: Great thing is with its short throw lense it only needs approx 6FT distance for that size of an image.

FM4 Triple screen or 120", oh decisions decisons :D

you can put one of the mustang engines that ends up with 5bhp less than the ford GT engine in the focuses. i've only tried it in the '03 focus, and got a lovely A class 4WD with either 701bhp or 801bhp (i forget which)

you can put the ford RS200 engine in the fiesta, which gves about 780bhp 4WD in S class (and complete pointlessness in 2WD)

you can also put that 991bhp 3 rotor engine in a lot of the FWD mazdas. my favourite is the '09 mazda 3. it might not have the 250mph top speed of the FWD chevy aveo (it can only do ~243mph), but it more than makes up for that with front end grip. even with barely any handling upgrades its kind of controllable

if you havent guessed it by now i love putting massive engines in really inappropriate cars
 
Have gone ahead and plonked down my £5 for the LCE... Gonna have to trade a fee games in for it, but hey ho. Gonna trade in Deus Ex, which seems daft when I'm less than halfway in, but there's no way it can compete for my attentions against Forza 4 and Batman. Will just have to rent it when I've got the time and inclination to go back to it.

Now roll on Monday and the demo!
 
I did some of the R2 series last night - I forgot the Euro GT and ALMS cars are all complete dogs with zero grip. Anyone know why? Compared to the Japanese Super GT cars, it's like their tyres are made of cheese.
 
Probably going to be one of the few games I buy this year. I've gone off gaming completely for some reason but I've always loved Forza!

The Lexus Eneos was always a favourite of mine in that class.

Same, haven't bought any PC or Xbox games .. even resisted Fifa 12 for now. This is the only one I'm really interested in - can't wait :D
