2012 Ford Mondeo

Auto Express have created what, they think, the new Mondeo will look like.

I personally think that looks absolutely fantastic! A big leap in the right direction. Obviously it hasn't been officially unveiled but if it looks like that it will be amazing. I don't even normally like Ford's that much.

What do you guys think?

it kinda looks like a jag....the rear isnt as nice as the front.

Looks a bit like a family sized Aston to me in places. This is good. Certainly a big improvement over the current design.

Either Performance Blue or Panther Black and I'll be there. (we'll I wont, I can't afford a new car, but I'd buy it used!)

It'll do a job and it'll do it very well I'm sure, but it's not going to change the World is it? The rear looks like it's been ripped off an A5, and the front looks like it's been ripped off an Aston. Bizarre combination IMHO.

To me it looks like someone took a Mondeo and then photoshopped bits on using the inspiration of similar cars or cars that have some link with Ford... oh wait a sec

And lol @ AutoExpress. It looks great but the new Mondeo will look nothing like that.

The 2012 focus looks great so would expect the same sort of design for the mondeo. It's the tech going into the 2012 range that is pretty cool for me rather than the aesthetics. Who doesn't want to use their car as a wireless hotspot. Or use Spotify: http://techcrunch.com/2011/09/10/sp...-the-music-services-first-in-car-integration/

Its surely a few years away for a new model i'd have thought, it came out in 2007 iirc, last one was 2001-2007, previous to that was 1993-2001 with a serious facelift in 1996.

Autoexpress are normally miles off anyway.
