Hi guys

I'm in the market for a new phone and have settled on the SGSII. The only problem is finding the best price deal.

The biggest concern is the contract length as I don't want anything over 12months.

The best I can find so far is:

TalkMobile 400
400 mins Any
Network Anytime + 1000 Texts
1GB Data

£30pm x 12months with £99 for the phone.

With cash-back (£40) this works out cheaper then buying the handset alone. Handset by it's self is £420.

Are there any better deals about?

That's about the best one (and the one i'm on). I think I've seen a similar deal at e2save and mobiles.co.uk.

Other than trying dial-a-phone, it might be worth checking Gumtree for an o2 locked sgs2 and sticking a £10 giffgaff sim in it.

e2save,

does anyone know where you put the PAC code when going through to check out? i believe you have to do it before completing the buy else it is too late.

well the cost of the phone just went up £50.

So now i have to look about again.

EDIT: e2save are still showing the offer.

Im currentley on the market for this phone i hae 6 months left on my contract with vodaphone and have been looking at either renewing 6 months early with vodaphone

what is the deal with phones4u exactly i heard they can buy out your contract if 6 months are left and would mean you can choose provider and plan through them i saw a deal for sg2 on phones4u website for 24 month contract 600 mins 1gb data i think for something like 28 quid?

check hotdeals each day,

i'm paying £10.99 a month over 24months after £90 cash back :)

Same data, calls and texts?

Wow I never realised the phone market was such a ripoff! This same deal on 3 websites the phone ranges from £99 - £299!!!!!

no less texts and mins, but i use a different sim in it anyway and just paid of the £264 for the contract which was well cheaper than buying the phone. add £100 one off fee and then - £90 cashback i paid a grand total of £274 for the phone 3 days after it was released :D

hotdeals is the best place to check each day.

well crap.

Prices just increased by £50 while i was pondering.

Guess I'll be waiting a bit longer.
