OK - going to Paris for a week on Saturday. Not been for about 2 years. Anyone been more recently and got any recommendations on things they liked?

Agreed, met some real tosspots. Generally any service staff you have contact with.

Look up some good restaurants from TripAdvisor and make a point to go to them. Last time we ate at a lovely place in Pernety called Les Frangines.

Wander up the Seine from Gare de Lyon to Notre Dame if the weather is nice. Grab some food from a nice boulangerie - stuffed baguettes, sugary things, etc.

Have a wander around Montmartre and Sacre Coeur.

Chill out in Jardin de Luxembourg.

Eat more amazing food.

I have been to Paris many times. Was just looking for new trendy spots and the like.
