For those that were interested in my RadeonPro settings:

Tweaks Tab:

Please keep in mind i'm running a 5870 & a 5970 in tri-fire, so i can get away with a lot of demanding settings, Supersampling causes slight fps drops for me, that's why it's on adaptive, and wide-tent makes games look blurry.

I'm constantly on 60fps as well, i don't experience dips on these settings.

Right i keep getting Disconnects from Login server when i play BF3 Beta. At first it wasn't doing it. But now its just random?

Any idea's?

Having played both metro and caspian so far, I am highly impressed with the game already :cool:

. However this judgement is based 95% on caspian border btw

However one thing for sure. This game will definitely require several patches in the coming months to become fully stable on our rigs.

Many times while driving the jeep in caspian border, I found once it got hit with a rpg, etc the characters even if they died, just froze instead of falling as a dead person lol

It starts at 1 or 2 pm today and runs into October it's not a 1hr beta

I don't if it is true but reading on the web, there seems to be speculation going on that caspian border will be released for open beta

If they can finish play testing by noon 2day then yes caspian board will be in BETA. Altho i'm sure you'll be able to play it earlier if you get the password which keeps getting leaked.

haha... brilliant! No its not 1 pm until 2pm. People can start to download and play from around 1 - 2 pm.

Think i'm gonna try and get the Mrs to start it downloading before I get home. But the question is can I explain to her how to do it over the phone? Prob not....

I used teamviewer on my android phone when the early access came out. It's also on usenet now.

Can somebody explain how the engineer anti-air missile works?

Soon as you take to the air in Caspian Border you are targetted in under a minute. Personally I think that map would be better with either helos or jets, not both.

You can't complain about something your not supposed to be playing...which I presume never got released to the public for reasons above
