4GB Ram

Having been told to turn down some settings for high/ultra, this is what I did:

1) shadow : low
2) AA options off

Although vram still goes around 990MB; just below the limit, now I can play on high/ultra and getting anywhere from 38-60FPS in operation metro.

Right well just played metro still had the same feelings as i did during the Alpha that is really good. Gonna go que up for some caspian now.

However bit worried about my PC. Anyone else with ATI cards getting some strange graphical glitches. Firstly during the outside part i get black flickering lines on the screen and then during the subway i sometime get white lines flicker. Never had any issues like this during the alpha.

Also the game runs fine but then tends to go quite sluggish after a while especially in the metro part. My temps are fin so im hoping these are game bugs rather than pc issues

I downloaded it via nzbmatrix, unzipped the stuff into the folder it suggested, but it doesnt show up in my games list, if I run the bf3.exe it asks me to enter a code within origin which of course I don't have, how do i get it to work or do i need to wait for origin to start displaying properly again?

Danke

My origin is displaying fine, you need to enter you beta key so it adds the game to origin.

All game files should be C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Battlefield 3 Beta

Wow, there were some pretty stupid complaints posted on the Battlelog forums the last 2 days, but today i think this forum just produced the finest ive seen.

Complaining about the fact that DICE made the Caspian maps passworded, and then changing them frequently and not telling everyone what it is, and how frustrating and stupid that is.

They should make everyone take a Battlefield test to be able to play the game, anyone who's thick and goes round whining about stuff they know nothing about (and made zero effort to find out first) and vent their ignorance in a rant on public forums doesnt deserve to be playing their damn game!

Its one thing to try a game that catches your eye, and not know much about it beforehand, but to start bitching about the difficulty of gaining access to something your not entitled to have access to... that takes years of dedication of building up your ignorance. It wouldnt harm some people to spend a few minutes googling what they're playing, and commenting once they have sufficient knowledge to be reasonably confident their whine is fair, rather than being a spoilt brat and venting it in here, so its been brought up on every page in this thread the last 48hrs.
