Of course it can, don't believe these idiots who cry when their fps dips below 100. I run a 4890 with 8gb ram and 2500k 4.5 and it runs this game no problems on max, it's really not that demanding.
This game sure eats up the ram for the textures.
the 1gb on my 5850's is being eaten alive on Caspian Border. (Metro is easy) Starts off fine, then one the textures get loaded further into the game you go, the laggier it gets, but it seems to be ATi & nVidia users.

6950 definitely
5850 can also run on ultra with good fps at 1080p, but it's potential is limited by 1GB vram.
I think for your res, another 5850 may be the option

5850 [email protected] am i looking at high settings @ 1980 or at least 1650?
I know it oldish card but i can still play most stuff reasonably and am putting off upgrade as i want to do a major new build.

is it me or in conquest mode everyone runs around like headless chickenatm prefer rush mode just rush map bit to small maybe. and alt+enter most annoying thing ever when u change settings
It's a mixed bag, some actually know what they are doing. Although I entered a tank earlier driven by someone else. Instead of going to checkpoints, he moved to a location, then sat there trying to shoot aircraft down with the AP tank rounds.

I find it difficult to take down enemy with assault rifles, compared to CS Source.
Do you think I need more practice with shooting.
It's very frustrating when an enemy is running towards me and I shoot at him, then moments later he shoots back and my player gets killed

Thanks for that matey, i guess i will have to ajust the unlock voltage feature and re make my fan profile if i install a new version?

Yeah a lot of players have some real OP unlocks by now, you're at a disadvantage against them.
