It's xbox live. I've gamed with a mic on a PC most of my adult life, but a single session of the vile pit of immature bile that is xbox live was enough for me

Assuming he knew the kid, 'in a moment of madness' he took the headset off, turned the game off, got his shoes on, left the house and drove / walked round to this kids house and then strangled him.

I think you are right, but he could have got the address. Believe it or not people use gamertags on facebook accounts and all sorts. Would not be to hard to track an address I guess in this day and age with kids linking all sorts of sites together.

How did he just go round to his house? Did the kid openly tell him his address or something.

Probably sent the kid a message like: "Congratulations! Domino's Pizza, in partnership with Xbox LIVE!, is happy to inform you that you've just won a free pizza! Provide your address and we'll bring it right over!"

As a parent, you know every school has a kid who has "Psycho Dad" for a father.

He's the one likely to kick off over the slightest little thing, whilst probably at the same time letting their kid run amok because the only way they know how to handle things is violence.
