so basically the OH has had three letters from a parking company Excel Parking Saying that she didnt pay to park, which she did as she been working the same company for the last 3 years and has the same parking routine as when she started.

We on letter three advising its going to go to court, cost has gone from £60.00 to £148. Now i did the whole "private company, ignore letter" speech, but how many letters should we expect to recieve before they give up ? or is it worth writing a letter to say "dont know who was driving, what you gonna do?" letter ?

4 or 5 ime, i even got one offering the original discount back on the 5th letter lol. I have always just ignored some try to call eventually but all give up in the end.

i got one from "Parking Eye" this week for parking on Fistral Beach, Cornwall. Im ignoring the letter and so should you. Its a invoice, not a fine..

The annoying thing for me is, they fined (errm sorry invoiced) me for overstaying my 4hour ticket by 30minutes (5minutes to get ticket, 15minutes to get out of wetsuits and 10mins for taking photos of the beach)... £90 for 30minutes? absurd charges! The max ticket length was 4hours (£4.80), or all day (£8)... Oh and the charges ended at 1800 also (im sure it said that on the ticket machine), and i left at.... you guessed it 1825.

God only knows, I'd just keep 'filing' them. I assume they escalate in content and once they've sent you the most threatening I imagine they will be out of ammunition as it were.
