thing is they might start messing with it to please the whiners.

like edel says and happened with bfbc2 in the beta reg was a lot better in beta and a few weapons then you get the whiners spamming crap everywhere then they nerf good stuff to please them :(

beta has been out how long and look at the pc nerds rage hard and it gets worse and worse. the games great :confused: has a few bugs which will be sorted in probaly next two builds / patches.

Yep exactly the same server full issue.
What's your Origin name Lander?

*Edit. Think they are doing something now, as I don't get the "Could not connect to server" anymore, just a skull and cross bones "Could not join server". A sign. :D

While we are all getting frustrated about not getting in, can someone please clarify something for a player like me new to BF, only having played BC2 a little. I like the tactical aspect of the game and prefer it to the mindless running and gunning of COD. Having said that, I did enjoy the Search & Destroy Hardcore mode in COD4 as it forced you to communicate with your team mates and to have a tactic. Is there something similar to Search & Destroy in the BF series? (basically plant the bomb but no respawning until the round is over) And do people communicate over their mics or is it just by chatting? (I prefer the former as it's quicker)

Also wtf is the deal with Flash lights now?? It feels like its a shield i tested it on a mate he shined one in my eyes from about 20 meters and i sprayed a full clip into it and he didn't die.... Maybe just a WTF moment but very very strange...

Still love it but find so many of the weapons pointless other than fluff.

I feel the same about the tactical light.

I said out loud while playing "it's like the torch is some kind of force field"

1. Uninstall all ATi drivers with express catalyst install manager, uninstall all CAP and other ati software that it doesnt remove - use driversweeper to delete the rest after you've uninstalled everything.
2. Install 11.10 driver ONLY no CAP's or anything
3. Download RivaTuner from Guru3d, install RivaTuner, go into the tools folder in the installation directory, move the d3doverrider folder to wherever you please.
4. Uninstall rivatuner (you dont have to, but i dont use anything other than d3doverrider)
5. Run D3D overrider, click the + button, navigate to your origin folder, find bf3 open beta and add bf3.exe and click open. After that you'll see BF3.exe in the list, click it and force vsync ON and turn triple buffering OFF. (place in startup folder afterwards)

No

COD's Search and Destroy mode is a carbon copy of counter strike's bomb defusal game mode.In exactly the same way that gun game on Black Ops is a carbon copy of the gungame mod for CS.

Battlefield isn't into that sort of thing.

Nothing wrong with the torch in BF3, quit the complaining.
 
btw if someone says " you're under the map ", most likely to them you are!. It's the animation, just as that person in Raven's video would probably not see what he was doing.

Volki wouldn't have it :p
