Been looking at this but there isn't any rad mounts for a 240mm rad like there was in the HAF932. So where the bugger is it supposed to go.

And also where is the corsair link that was supposed to be coming out

Question

How do I mount a radiator on the top?

Answer

HAF will support a 240, 360, or 280mm radiator with no modification. Remove the top 200mm fan, and use the 8 holes to attach the radiator. The top panel must be removed by pressing on the internal plastic clips within the chassis. Some extreme radiators over 60mm thick, or too heavy may run into some issues in support, although most 360mm radiators will be accommodated with no issues.

The h80 and h100 are a lot better than the d14.

A lot better?! Where do you get that from? The only way the H100 is better is if you set the fan speed to 2000-2600RPM and only if you stick with the stock thermal paste. Even then, it's better by 1.75C at most. The NH-D14 is quieter, cheaper and cools tremendously well.

Helios is coming for you.

:p

The source is myself having tried out the majority of high end coolers currently out :p. If the noctua can't cope with your chip, then you're doomed. Anyway why don't you use the stock fans.

Also 50c sounds very cool to me and the weather is no doubt leading to higher temps.

The stock fans gave me higher temps, i tried them out before selling them, ( i extensively tested this btw)

yeah 1c better temps and a lot less noise that 140 circular fan is a piece of carp much louder than 2 apache camo's at full speed

Really? Hmm, I found the opposite to be true. The 140mm fans is by no means the best but it's better/quieter than a lot of fans I've used, certainly 120mm ones at higher RPM. Afterall, that's the whole point of larger lower RPM fans. And for that 1C, I'd stick with the quieter default fans than the 120mm ones.

But the 120mm apache camo is quiter than the 140mm noctua which make an awful droney wine at max RM. it's a good fan just not as quiet as i'd like.

i'm currently looking at some air penetrators as i want to do some testing with them. Just wish ocuk stocked them cause i hate shopping at the competitor shop

The best fans are Thermalright Ty tr 140s if you can get them. Performs slightly better than the noctuas and are quieter plus come with pwm functionality. Otherwise there's the scythe slipstream 140. Both of those are 140mm fans with 120mm mountings and are some of the best fans around. They'd be perfect on the NH-D14.

I had the crap d14 before my h80 and it was awful in comparison. Thats where i get that from. Just because you love something , doesnt mean its great, the d14 is very average.

I don't love it for the hell of it. In fact, I'd recommend the Silver Arrow over it. The Noctua is a great cooler and I've used a fair few coolers in my times to compare it to. If you can show me conclusive results that the H80 is better then please go ahead.
