That's good for him!
Looking forward to the 11th, I'll no doubt have to get one of these (though I'm apprehensive about the screen). Especially if the new iPhone is a 4S and not the 5 that most people are hoping for.
After all the waiting it would be ridiculously if it wasn't an ip5, would be some what of a stupid move as a lot of people wouldn't want a very slight upgrade. Hope it is actual an ip5 just in-case the prime isn't as good as its said to be.
Indeed, it would be a massive mistake on Apple's part, but we'll see.
Are the specs actually confirmed yet though?
Not yet but I'm not too bothered. It will be good whatever the spec and my Nexus S could do with a change.
A. i want a stock google phone
... sick of rooting and removing unwanted tosh
That's quite true.
I think nearly all Android users are praying the Nexus Prime comes out with some seriously killer specs so Google finally have a one size fits all Android device. The Nexus S wasn't quite good enough for that IMO.
You and me both (and probably a lot of other people too).
Although, I guess there's a chance the IP5 could come and blow it all away!?![]()
Hard to say at the moment, the iP5 will be more than good enough but it's not going to have industry leading specs I imagine. Then again, I'd rather have a 'retina' screen at a high(er) res than a SAMOLED personally.
That's assuming there is even an iP5, it's all a bit up in the air at the moment...
IP5, 4S, same thing really, the next one released.
Well yes, but the iPhone 5 would be a brilliant looking (if the case designs/mock-ups are anything to go by) redesign of the entire phone, with a larger screen.
A 4S will just have the quicker processor, improved camera, 1080p and look exactly the same. It won't be converting anyone over, an iP5 probably would.
Where will everyone be buying the prime from?
Who knows at the moment. When the Nexus S appeared it was only initially available from CPW.
