I agree really, squad management is the killer for me at the moment but once thats in I will be loving it.

People are peeing around a lot because it's the beta, I spent a lot of timing just looking around, running random places, shooting at nothing, etc. Once on a server in the retail version with a load of OcUK / Steam bods, it will be great.

Every minute they spend doing that is a minute not spent fixing the final retail, which will start shipping to retailers in the not-too-distant future. They must be running around like blue-arsed flies trying to get the retail version sorted, never mind the beta. However it's slightly odd that they wouldn't test those fixes on the beta too, but then this is pretty much the first beta I've ever bothered with so what do I know.
 
I need some BF3 friends guys I'm a loner :(

On PC my soldier name is the same as here. Add me please so i can actually play as part of a team. Unless there are clans accepting new members :)

I absolutely love it, in single shot mode its a complete beast. Don't put an ACOG in it, all it does is annihilate half your screen

COD4 ban? I've just tried to search for it and looking at the profiles linked it looks like it's a Euro Domination profile with the name myro1990 and the ingame name of HahahHahahahAH or something. Well as far as I'm aware that isn't and has never been me so quite how they've managed to link that to a ban I'm not so sure.

Either way as stated about I've not got a care in the world as I'm enjoying BF3 at the moment.

If I were to hack, I wouldn't keep it quiet and I nor would I try to defend myself like this.

I've watch the hack videos and I've played against them, doesn't appeal to me.
 
BF3 crashes and the 560ti - you too?

From threads on battlelog I see that I am not the only one having issues with the BF3 beta and the game crashing every 10 mins or so.

It will basically freeze briefly, the desktop will appear but with no mouse and BF3 still active in the background and on the taskbar. Bring up task manager to get the mouse back, kill the bf3 process and then rejoin the game.

Rinse and repeat.

Event logs suggest the NKVDM driver is crashing and restarting (using the latest beta drivers).

Seems to be a particular problem with the 560ti and others have reported occasional success downclocking their cards.

I've had zero problems with other games since I got the card though.

Any other 560ti users care to say whether they are having the same issue, and let us know make, model and clock speed?

Mine is, as per my sig, a Gigabyte GV-N560OC-1GI at factory overclock of 900mhz.
 
I had it crash a couple of times (drop to desktop), using an MSI TFII 560Ti. I've only played about an hour of the beta though.

I just put it down to flaky Beta engine and Beta drivers, as none of my other games have any problems.

I agree.

I also think I'm one of the only people who think damage is still not high enough. Maybe because I came straight from Red Orchestra 2, but it feels like I have to shoot people a dozen times to kill them.

Yes sir, hardcore all the way!

Only ever play hardcore on BC2 or any of the COD series. Something very frustrating about emptying a 30 round magazine into someones throat before they die. Sometimes feels like its best to not bother and just wait for them to decease through natural causes, would be just as quick.
