Did someone ask about the server filter? ..earlier sometime...

...anyway, just noticed this 'handy hint' on Battlelog.

"Hint: Did you know you can customize your Quick match experience?
Configure a Server filter in the Server Browser, and that filter will be used when using Quick match. Next hint"

That's exactly what I said would happen... but I was shouted at for being an idiot.

It's worth noting that it doesn't look like LOCATION filtering is actually working, 100 servers whether you tick europe or not.

There is a new bios just released for the Gigabyte 560ti OC - any one tried it at all (bit leery myself when it's only one game I'm having an issue with, and it's a beta using beta drivers)?

I have heard that some people have had success upping the voltage on their cards slightly rather than having to downclock, and a recent bios upgrade for a different Gigabyte 560ti supposedly upped the default voltage a bit so maybe this bios does the same.

There is dedicated gigabyte easy boost utility that will downclock the card if you want to use that rather than the NVidia one.

Personally, I'm going to wait and see and play other games until I hear that this has been fixed, either by nvidia, dice or the card manufacturers.

It is very annoying when I am closing in on the mcom to plant charge, I fall right through the ground and then the movement messes up.

Been playing all afternoon and I haven't fallen into the ground once. I assume you have downloaded the update that came out a few days ago?

Btw, been playing with the UMP. It's ok, but silenced it's a god damm killing machine. Didn't think too much of the AEK TBH.

My crossfire setup was working fine last night but tonight 1 5850 is providing much better performance (no massive dips) Seems so up and down

Really dislike Metro now, doubt I'd play it again in the full version. The map forces all the worst aspects of BF gameplay (camping and spamming) in order to do well. Infact really dislike rush, more so than in BC2. Seems an odd way to demo a new Battlefield game... Keep getting one shotted (it seems from my POV) which is hugely annoying but not as annoying as emptying a half clip into someone at close range (and seeing the targeting reticule register hits) only for them to fire one burst and shred you, then seeing they have 100% health in the stupid killcam!

Still eagerly awaiting the release though - Battlefield fans = masochists :p

That's because there are far more than 100 servers but it only shows you a maximum of 100. It will show 100 from anywhere or 100 from Europe, notice how the American servers disappear when you select Europe.

My mouse buttons or wheel won't register at all in the control bindings menu which setpoint won't help :(

Do you mean the control bindings in the BF3 settings?

Setpoint assigns key strokes to your mouse buttons so it should work, you can also set up a profile on setpoint to only use it when you play a certain game

I think the flashlights are ****ing great and I love the way they work. What I don't like is how the sniper scope glare looks like a ****ing halogen headlamp on a car

I was waiting for someone to appear at the mcom I was to defend it, suddenly it goes off there was no one there. I got up, looked about and this guy appeared he didn't even run to the mcom just appeared!. I fired my gun at him, I had the first shot and everything was spot on.

I died

Rage quit :(
