Female body builders, just why?

Jodie Marsh -

She's been into it for a while - has a series of vids on youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K-mLQh_VQ2w

She may have been training for that comp for just 50 days but there's loads of photos floating around from 2 years ago when she actually first started training. She had some definition then, but nothing of that level.

Edit: Found the article. Hope it's ok to post this :

daily mail article from May 2009

Also says here that she's gone from a size 10/12 to a size 6/8 which it says has just happened again in those most recent articles!

Its good that she has put some effort into doing something other than being a drunk Z celeb falling out of night clubs and having reality tv shows but just shows how many celebs have zero talent.

Anyone can do that, just takes time, money and dedication.

I'm guessing this is the sort of thing the OP was refering to.... tis a bit odd

still each to his/her own - if thats what she's into then crack on.

I'm built like her but mines from hard graft.

*genetic condition means I'm a very hard gainer so will never have a manly sized body.

Cos the camera's are on her.. That's what feeds all bodybuilders.. They CRAVE attention. But in reality, they're getting all the wrong attention.

That's a sweeping, mis-informed generalization.

Bodybuilders don't care much for attention. They do it purely to be as big as possible and/or for the perfect physique.

Are you actually being serious ?

What about women with huge big fake knockers, I don't suppose they're doing it for attention either...

gimme a break.

If she wants to have a boob job to boost her own confidence, make her body more proportionate or for the "perfect physique" how is she looking for attention? If I choose lift abnormally large weight to make myself feel better, or because I want the "perfect physique" or simply because I want to be bigger how am I or anyone else that bodybuilds specifically looking for attention?

Next you'll be saying everyone on this forum that lifts weights does it simply for attention.

Why are they all this colour? And why would these people deliberately make themselves look soooooooo ugly? Jodie Marsh used to be quite fit tbh...
