That crash is mad, the signage is just plain bad for the repair work and should've been put a lot further back before the speeds became too great and also ideally with the track closed (although with that many people there I can imagine it being hard to say no to lots of customers and revenue on such a busy day).
I've seen other poor signage there too, last time I went it warned of an oil spill on a corner the whole time we were there, causing a lot of people to brake unnecessarily/unexpectedly, despite the hazard being cleaned up days before and knowing it's perfectly safe.
Going on a weekend these days is near enough pointless, if you want to have fun on it anyway, too busy and pretty much a certainty there'll be a handful of closures throughout the day. Only worth going for sighting laps and to look at the metal in the car park.
Much much better on a weekday evening, certainly has been on the last few times I've been anyway, near enough empty and depending on your pace you might not see another car on a lap.
As dramatic and bad as crashes are there it's morbidly part of the reason and thrill to drive the place
