Failed my driving test this week... How many attempts did it take you?

Hard to remember exactly now, But i do know i was also drinking a bottle of JD straight, My favorite :D
along with others, I was at a party, so i was shovelling anything and everything down my neck.
Then i was intending to crash out the night in my car, but mates kept nagging at me to give them a lift home, So i did.

When the police pulled me, they asked me how i was managing to drive, i just said "im following the white lines", but little did i know, i was following the white line that seperates the bike lane to the public walking path, so i was actually driving on the path :D

Sounds like you're actually proud of this?

First time, 3 minors.

Theory took me 5 attempts. Piece of worthless money-making ****.

I can see the point of the test but I do think they set the quite high pass mark just to make a bit of extra $$$. The amount of people who have failed by 1 mark is astonishing too (A friend failed by 1 mark three times) but I'll leave the tin foil hat off for now :p. I'm putting in for my theory this week, hope I can pass it first time.

Good luck! You do really have to revise for it though, most of it's common sense but people get confused by the questions. My weakness was hazard perception, just skimmed a pass!

Failed my first test very near the start for a silly mistake. I knew I'd failed so proceeded to not give a **** and racked up 3 minors. Second test I was "super careful" and passed with 13 minors! Luckily the examiner didn't notice I hit the kerb on my bay parking and twice on my 3-point turn or I'd have been a goner. Quite proud I only had one lesson though.

Little bump.

Is taking a test on Saturday more difficult than a weekday? My test is booked for 23rd November but there have been cancellations which means I could take it on either the 8th, 16th or 23rd of this month (they're all Saturdays).

1st time, 2 minors.

1) turning window wipers on instead of indictator (was learning in two different cars with opposite sides for these)
2) late signaling.

1 lesson? BS unless someone helped you previously.

or your 50+ :P

I've got my first lesson tomorrow afternoon, having never previously sat in the drivers seat in the car before. I'm rather nervous :(

I know a friend who took 8 attempts to pass. She was a woman though *troll.jpeg*

Took me five times. I was so nervous i kept messing up on silly things.
My 5th time i thought i hit a mirror straight from the off which made calm down and just get on with it. It was his chair clicking back in the end and was over the moon i passed.
Driving for 10 years now and only had one accident that was not my fault so all is going well.
