HTC Sensation or Iphone4?

Quality as in high quality materials and a premium feel, not durability and shatter resistance. HTC are actually fairly poor when it comes to quality, even though you might not think it.

That's problem with Android phones in general IMO.

:O I thought HTC phones were rated for there high quality. Personally I find that durability and resistance to be part of quality, ip4 does feel good theres no doubting that xD.

My Nexus S has taken two tumbles on concrete, and one down a small flight of stairs on the underground. Scars = 2 small dents in the plastic on two of the corners.

I've heard of people dropping their iPhones from pocket height and shattering the screen.

"Premium feel" apparently does not relate to "premium durability".

For a device I carry round with me 24/7, I know which I'd rather have ;)

To be expect with a phone that's covered in glass, but for most ppl they would rather have the iPhone over most things. Some even defend how it would never break until it happens xD.

OP as you havent decided on OS yet have you considered Windows Phone 7?

The HTC Titan is (about to be?) released and there will probably be a couple of nice Nokia devices in the near future and a 4.3" sammy.

My girlfriend was in the same dilemma but as she is a NHS nurse she gets a really good discount with Orange which made the iPhone4 cheaper than the Sensation.

I have a HTC Desire S and we both prefer my phone over the iPhone4!

I'm waiting for the Nexus Prime ;)

Buying a phone purely based on whether or not it will break if you drop it from a great height is pretty ridiculous IMO. I currently own a rooted Desire HD and had an iPhone 4 before that. When the novelty of "wow I can install new rooms and widgetzzzz!!!11" wears off on an Android device, they really are not all the great*. iOS just does the same as Android but goes about it in an easier way*.

*purely my opinions and not based on actual fact.

^^^ the desireHD was hardly a great showcase for Android and had mediocre hardware specs. SGSII is a whole different story.
