Xbox Live Fraud... Great :/

So I notice a transaction on my online banking that I have not made to "MicrosoftXbox" for £39.99 so straight away I phone Barclays and all they tell me to do is call back later as the fraud department is busy :mad: So I then go to Xbox.com to remove my card on my Xbox Live account and change my password, but ohh no I can't remove my card all I get is "This payment option cannot be removed at this time. Go to the Payment method information page to view services associated with this payment option." So all I can do is change my password and that doesn't feel like enough to me! What the hell do I do :confused:

Also the transaction was dated 2nd October at 1am in Luxembourg :/
 
Are you sure it isn't your live subscription being renewed?

Also it states in there T&C when you live in europe you actually sign up for MS Luxembourg

Not any help but a friend had £200 worth of games and MS points bought using his live account that nobody else knew the password to other than him
 
It's very common at the moment. I had it happen a couple of months ago, and there have been quite a few threads on here reporting it.

It's really not safe to keep a card attached to your XBL account anymore.
 
Add me to the list off people having their Xbox Live account stolen! Just been on the phone to MS and they've got to freeze my account for 25 days whilst they investigate..... :(
 
This kind of happened to me but with PS3, and I was pretty ticked off with Sony's response... Basically had my credit card bill thru the door with around 10-15 transactions buying complete random rubbish off the psn store such as worms, tekken online, theme hospital etc etc someone just thought they'd go nuts. Around 65-70 quid in total...

So I phoned Sony they put my account on hold/freeze or whatever and said they will investigate it but can't tell me who did it etc but they will ban their console they are doing it from, I said what about the money? they said they can't refund it and if I ask my credit card company to refund it for me from Sony they will delete? my account so it's unusable and would have to make another one I assume.

So I thought stuff that, phoned my credit card company which was RBS mastercard. They were great they investigated fast and got back to me the next day refunded ALL of the money for me, Sony never banned my account or deleted it either lol :).
