Anyone else get these? I had a dilly of a calf camp on Sunday night and it's still sore and tender today. :(

It hurts soooo much. its unbearable at times.

I just end up grabbing hold of my foot and pulling it towards me, sorts it out after a while.

I get cramp very rarely but when i do it is absolutely horrible.

A few months a go i had it the worst i ever had in my hamstring whilst lying in bed one morning. I couldnt move or do anything except lie there in agony for about 15 minutes

The muscle hurt and felt tender for days after as well.

Not nice!

Magnesium 2 - 400 mg per day, preferably take in the evening as one should with minerals. Something like Magnesium Citrate / Chelated are good.

I get them once every 2 weeks or so, mostly in the foot which normally goes away by getting out of bed a walking a bit. Sometimes i get in in my calf which absolutely wrecks and leaves the muscle tight for a few days. I once got cramp in my jaw which left me looking like a goon for 15mins. :(

Random thought.

Do people with skinny legs get these nocturnal cramps?

I've inherited heavyish legs which probably didn't get any lighter by cycling for years.

It is truly crippling waking up with cramp. Horrible sensation even if you're not moving, gets marginally worse if you do... Always seems to be an entire leg for me :(
