Finally Dice are listening, Squad management in game !!

like others have posted i hate joining a match and randomly be put into a squad who just camp. i like to check my squad im joining, if they work together, im hoping they change the minimap like BF2 and shrink the size of the text box, and be able to customize weapons and graphics whilst dead.

The Battlefield series have never been truly competitive games so the netcode being dodgy isn't that big a deal.

But people do love to whine.

Blah blah, all you do is moan at other members posting legitimate concerns and it's getting boring, fine be a sheep and take what you're giving but don't come on here calling people whiners. Players are giving important feedback on this game to get make the it best playing experience possible for everyone, You think the hitreg shown above is acceptable in an online FPS in 2011, these matters should and are being brought to the attention of Dice.

Are you as stupid as the guy who made the video? they posted in the fix notes part 1 that there was a bug that causes you to 'take more damage' if you're shot whilst moving -- essentially letting any weapon one shot you... that is what that is showing. They posted days ago that its fixed for retail.

Are you stupid not to realize that the majority of deaths in the vid he was not moving, and the being shot whilst being behind cover, is that in the fix, we shall see come the 28th if it's fixed or not.

The hit reg is unpredictable. There's times when people drop, take too much damage or just none at all.

DICE brought it to the attention of everyone days ago... this beta is a battlelog test and nothing more -- all the bugs present they know full well about and have tweeted as much, people are just wasting precious nerdrage whining about this stuff.

The rumor is that Battlefield 3 will be available just in time for the release of the game on October 25. According to the report, EA and Valve are very close to reaching an agreement regarding sales of DLC content, which is the main reason Battlefield 3 wasn't previously coming to Steam.

Valve requires that all DLC is sold through Steam, whereas EA prefers to sell it through their own channels. This was why Crysis 2 (another EA title) was pulled from Steam earlier this year. Many PC gamers have lobbied both EA and Valve to bring Battlefield 3 to Steam and it looks like this may just happen. Fingers crossed!"

Im i the only one enjoying this so far? Yes i get the odd bf3.exe stopped working, bsod here and there and there are things missing but hey its good.

I am enjoying it too. People love to pick at problems, but when its all settled and patched its going to be amazing. I have high hopes for the game, can't wait!!

Gave this a go yesterday and turned it off after 5 minutes, just couldn't get into it, couldn't change keyboard settings unless in game state (so died as character was just standing there whilst I adjusted settings), not sure why but couldn't get full screen (presumably this is down to beta) and didn't feel familiar step up as BF1942 felt to BF2/BC

Agree with Dave1983 - battlelog is rubbish vs. Steam.

I will try it again at the weekend but certainly won't be spending my hard earned on this quite yet

Well I hope it's true as I would buy it off Steam any day as I haven't even pre-ordered yet.

I enjoy it, but the map is tedious and the glitches/hit reg just really annoys me sometimes.

You have to remember that this BETA is like a month old version of the game

please stop trying to talk sense, it doesnt fit peoples agenda against BF3!!

TBH origin is cr@p, id would rather use steam than this tripe, the beta has turned out to be a complete flop from my opinion, with only 3 weeks to go dice need to pull there finger out and stop trolling, I don't mind battlelog as stats info but that's where they need to stop. Battlelog is too cluttered and the original BF series i just want to filter to a game and join and not receive CTD or Error code (1).

Thanks for the link. If they can implement that for launch I will be happy.

I think the hit reg is much better than BC2 but there are still some issues, to be expected in a beta, although if these issues are inherent in the design and changes they make will only mask the real issue.
