The Sun claimed in August that Tom Cleverley, 22, had met a girl in a Blackpool nightclub and in the days after repeatedly asked her for sex.

The High Court heard that it was not actually the midfielder who had met and contacted the girl, but a man from West Yorkshire who was impersonating him.
...
David Price QC told the judge that News Group Newspapers had agreed to publish an apology and pay substantial damages and costs to Mr Cleverley, who was not in court. (BBC online)

Lazy, gullible, incompetent Murdoch half-wits

Away and **** Murdoch.

This along with the unnecessary Murdoch related thread title you made about the EPL/Sky Sports TV case are just boring.

Being hostile towards him won't solve anything...

It wasn't hostility. It was a serious question.

He's a really really boring RSS feed. The only reason he hasn't been banned for being an RSS feed is he tacks a bit of text to his link before he runs. Not any text about what he thinks on the matter mind, just what is already in the article.

IMO this is the funniest story I've read for a while. Some bloke, who looks a bit like a footballer actually pretends to be him so he can "beg for sex". Then a stupid newspaper reports that it was actually the footballer.

Why do people feel the need to come in and just be nasty to the OP?

It's bullying and pathetic. I'd have thought the Moderators would have had enough about them to put an end to it.

If his threads annoy you, just don't open them? It's hardly rocket science.

Agreed, why can't they just hit the back button and say nothing rather than trying to jump on another ocuk meme and bump the threads.

Easy pay day for Cleverley. :D

What IS the matter with you

If you don't appreciate my threads, just ignore them. It isn't that difficult and I will neither know nor care.

As to this particular story, it is my opinion that it perfectly illustrates just how lazy, gullible and incompetent Rupert Murdoch's half-witted alleged journalists are in their ceaseless blind quest for salacious gossip and circulation.

If you couldn't work that out from my opening post, you have serious difficulties understanding basic communication - seek guidance and support before venturing further onto the Internet :p
