Not cancelled, going to learn the maps and get some sweet unlocks so I can shoot the noobs in the face that over reacted and cancelled (but bought it anyway 1 week later).
I have not cancelled and do not plan to, however if they do not fix the most important problem, which in my opinion is hit registration, then I will not be playing it for very long.
The hit registration is completely rubbish, I get killed constantly after running behind cover, so where is the fairness in that.
I was thinking of buying it but I realise now I just wont have the time - no, I don't have a life I just have too many other games to play! I'm picking up Dark Souls this week, I've pre-ordered Skyrim, looking forward to Diablo 3 etc . . .
I'll prob buy BF3 around xmas or something. I don't think I enjoy MP FPS games as much anymore, and I spent years playing old CS in clans etc etc, meh.
I was trying to order with Origin but their discount codes did not work so have not ordered yet.
POlayed the Alpha and was good. Have not been able to get onto a Beta game yet (stops at Connecting). The online support resolution has been poor so far (5 times)
I've not pre-ordered, simply because it doesnt work on one of the popular graphics cards on the market and that to me spells launch disaster.
I'm going to wait it out and buy other games, BF3 was one of most anticipated games of the run up to Christmas but after the playing the BETA and experiancing the issues that I have its slipped right down the list
I was going to pick it up on launch day but after playing the Metro map and having issues with connection to games, ive grown to dislike the game so much that i wont be buying it at all unless its on a sale.
never preordered and after the beta I have less reason to , was hoping for better gaemplay not a 12 year old cod fest type game but it's still not bad just not as good as I was expecting
1. Not cancelled just not ordered yet, unsure which is the best place to order(origin or solid copy).
Although a have already booked a week off work to play on release
I'm actually devastated. I never knew BF3 after all these years I would not be purchasing it. The early part of the year the trailers got everyone pumped. Slowly but surely it has got worse. Here are just a list of the things I hate.
> EA forces Origin upon playing BF3
- Cannot purchase via STEAM, just because EA want a slice of the digital market share.
- Battlelog a browser based menu that you cannot refine any settings in.
- In my opinion the BETA seems worse than actually how the Alpha was.
- Squad management cannot be changed within the full final game supposidly and has to be all done via Battlelog.
In essence they have destroyed battlefield for me. I cannot wait untill the reviews come flying in. (Public reviews that is because guranteed EA will be paying reviewers to give a nice review.)
