What do you prefer and why?

I'm gonna say white... but for now only cos it's different and therefore a little more special.. However I'm having 2nd thoughts on ordering my white 4S, cos black is sleeker, and soon white will no longer be oooh thats' a white iphone.

Also I'm a fan of the bumper case. On the white, the rubber will quickly become grubby, as apose to the blk bumper.

At the end of the day, I'll be replacing it for a 5 next June, so why not be a little different if only for the yr.

Black or White

Honestly, this one’s up to you, but we think there’s a strong argument to be made that at the end of the day a white iPhone 4S is a better choice than a black one.

First of all, the white iPhone 4S doesn’t show fingerprints as badly as the black model, so if you hate your iPhone looking like a mirror at Studio 54, the white iPhone 4S is going to look more pristine and require cleaning less often.

That’s also true for cracks on the back of the device. Cracks show clear as day on a black iPhone 4S because when the glass panel cracks, the edges of cracks turn opaque. Those cracks are not nearly as noticeable on a white iPhone 4 though.

Scratches? Same thing. And it’s worth noting that eBay, Craigslist and even Apple’s own buy back program offer more for white iPhone 4s than black ones.

In short, if you’re going bareback with your iPhone 4S, the white model will look a lot cleaner and newer than the black model. If you’re planning on rocking a case, though, the choice is up to you.

yeah, i always have screen protectors back and front anyway.. So the phone will look brand new when i come to get rid of it. (i always change for the next model at launch)

I'm guessing white is better for resale.. TODAY, however that may change now that white is easily available.

I will say, everytime I see a white iPhone I still think 'cool' !!!!! But that is because they are still sorta rare....
 
Black does look more professional, but the fingerprints arrgh, after trying the white iphone 4 in app store today, im gonna get the white iphone 4s, just suits the phone and isnt like every other phone out there.
 
I'm not sure to be honest. I intend on covering the back with one of those ultra-thin wooden veneer stickers (that'll hide fingerprints, scratches etc), but I'm leaving the front bare. Hmm.
 
I use a white iPhone 4 as my daily phone. Purely because I got bored of the black one.

I think overall, the black one looks smarter, but the white one is less common (if you care about that) and makes a nice change.

Also, it's Apple. Apple tend to be white, not black. So you quite easily get away with it, also, the white doesn't show up fingerprints as much on the back and around the screen, which is a huge bonus as they drive me up the wall.

Sorry but that sounds NASTY. Leave it as is, in all its glory. Just use a clear screen protector. One of the best things about the iPhone is its asthetics. If it aint broken............................

Yeah same here. Think they look awful when they're all hidden away under some crap cover. Same goes for Macbooks.
 
White looks cheap nasty and plasticy. Picture with the blackberry proofs it. Blackberry looks stylish, ip looks cheap.

However saying that still got a White iPad, due tore Jews saying black iPads were prone to overheating if used in the garden in summer and reflections don't show up as much on the large surround. Neither or problems on the phone though.
 
Black = Rock hard geezer hung like a Mule.
White = Blatant Gayer hung like a wasp.

White and silver don't go together, doesn't look right. If you're buying one to use without a case, only the black will properly emphasise the main feature, the silver band.
