Nexus Prime

It should be a big step up, certainly.

I have 2 concerns really, will be the 4.65" screen (that's right isn't it?) be a little bit too big for some people?

And will it have some noticeable hardware improvements over the Galaxy S II. It will need a couple in order to tempt over the Galaxy S II owners, surely!

Either way, it looks pretty great from the curved side view we've seen so far! :p

Wouldnt really see a need for something with a S2 to get a Nexus Prime, tbh samsung is getting a lot better with updates not sure why the s2 is behind SGS (mine is on 2.3.5 from a leaked rom) but it should catch up soon enough.

What I really want is it to have a 720p screen if it doesnt then thats really a deal breaker. Also a nice hardware bump from the S2 would be nice mainly in the battery department and I guess a then new CPU/Ram samsung had but I doubt that XD.

And lol at all the comments I acutal find Robbo to be quite fair and far from a troll, guess theres times when he acts up but there usually just funny xD.

Is there anything better than the GS2 for CPU and RAM? I thought the CPU was still current and what are you going to do with more than 1GB of RAM? Especially on stock android.

Some more specs, "supposedly facts":

4.65" screen
No LED indicators
Battery life was ok, not great, but thats typically the last thing to get optimized.
Smaller than current 4.3" devices and thinner.
4G LTE
NFC is built into its battery
Slightly more defined "concavity" to the glass than the Nexus S
Only 3 physical buttons and on screen home, back, menu like Honeycomb

I'm out!

jk :p

LTE sounds a bit off to me (currently a big battery killer)

Unless there's a HSPDA+ version it'll be a US only phone.

It's a Samsung feature apparently, they don't like using them on their phones.

With all the Dev making there own LED notification and everyone loving it thought they might add it. Personally love that I can just look at my phone and if i see my LED buttons light up i know it need some kinda of attention instead of pressing a button.

You can't deny you're own pleasure in stirring the brown stuff with some people ;)

As for the prime, im very tempted so we shall see what it's like, been itching to get an sgs2 so will have to wait it out.

You really think I'm 'nasty'?

God forbid I try and help people and make useful posts instead of ridiculous ones all the time, right Jim.

Hopefully only on these prototypes. Also, with back light notifications (back light on the buttons) working on the Galaxy S II, I'm not sure if it will take long for it to be added on this, if this turned out to be true :)

The international versions of the Galaxy S II have notification LEDs though (Epic Touch 4G does at least).

Ah, so that's what's missing. Can't say I've been bothered. :p

I wasn't bothered until I used my BlackBerry for a while, it really is a great feature and not all that hard to implement, surely.

We have to remember it's a phone first and foremost, it should have things like a notification LED. Apple are guilty of this as well, I'm not sure why it's overlooked so often.
