Drunzer, add me on 360 if you want some sparring.

Just played for an hour and got Ryu to 6000BP+ and then I grinded out Ken to 1000BP+ and that was mostly playing the same guy from around 500 points to the 1000 landmark lol. This time I searched for games and at one point played this fella, beat him easily enough and found him again... and again... and again until I reached 1000 points. Is that cheating?!

Wasn't boosting my PP at all playing him but got it to over 2400PP playing some guys before that. Undefeated tonight. Oh and when I was searching for games I did see Salu SSJ4 and overmostheads but ran scared... endless anytime though guys.

OMH you're officially internet famous. Guy at the pub sessions last night was asking if I knew you cause he'd come across you in ranked.

I've had mixed success with Oni. I've found I have to be super aggressive to stand a chance against higher ranked players and still struggle against faster chars. Still I'm enjoying him.

My combos still suck and I mess up most of them but still, fun.

That's the main thing really, if you are having fun using him you will gradually get better with him. I think I might jump on the bandwagon and try Oni next too.

I used "still" way too many times in my last post, still, I'm sure I'll use it some more.

Is there any major benefit to using non shoto chars over shotos? I seem to struggle way more against non-shotos but I suppose this is probably down to my play style?

I wouldn't personally look at characters as being shoto or non-shoto.
The major benefit of using other characters is a better understanding of their strengths and weaknesses.

I've got him on my friends list but I honestly can't remember since he hasn't sorted out his NAT settings so I never play him online.. plus there's just no point

He plays Gouken though, I can't imagine you've come across many
