Bet365 have Norwegian lower leagues in running at the minute, some fantastic value on there. An example:

Home team 5/6, Draw 11/4, Away 3/1. Fairly close(ish) game right?

0-0 was 33/1... 33/1!!!! It's usually 8/1 on any other game in the world, and of the 6 games I kept an eye on, 2 were 0-0, that's a 1,152/1 double.

After 87 minutes, no goal was still 8/11 for gods sake, it should be about 1/5 by this point. 8/11 on whats basically a 6 minute bet is outrageously good value!!

Even Aalesund vs IK Start was 22/1 for a 0-0, and that's the Tippaligaen, the top division. Lets see how long it goes before a goal goes in.

Finished 0-0. Kicking myself.. point proven though.

I did an overs bet today and had the Valerenga 2 v Tromsdalen match which finished 0-1 in it. Couldn't believe the final score to be honest :( Usually a lot of goals in these lower Norwegian leagues.

Yeah I saw that one, that was only 88th minute too!
 
Anyone else have a sort of syndrome when it comes to eyeing up an away team that you think is overpriced (typically home team favourite), but then bottling it and opting for the draw? Happened with Forest and Birmingham, I fancied Brum to turn them over but then the draw at 3.5 suckered me in as it seemed like a 'safer' bet. It just seems to something I end up doing quite a lot when I don't fancy the favourite to win, rather than go the whole hog and have courage in my convictions I temper my predictions with the way the bookies have it pegged and end up in middle.

Obviously laying the home side on betfair would cover me but I always feel like I'm not getting best value from bets like that.
 
Got a bet on the internationals on Friday. Only a quid. 114/1 they all come in which would seem decent odds. only one I wasn't sure about was Finland/Sweden. Italy away win in Serbia seems good at 2/1? With Skybet BTW.

you do know italy have already won the group and that serbia have only lost 1 match out of 8 and have a solid defense. their other loss was due to a forfeit, because of fans rioting so not a "real" loss.

italy will play there worst team possible, serbia will play their strongest and have home advantage. i would say the 2 to 1 odds are extremely bad.

Bet365 really have some random stuff to bet on. Currently my favourite to keep an eye on is the U17 Women's European Championship, so many goals it's hilarious. Lithuania vs Norway was 0-8 at HT, 0-11 FT. Ukraine vs Spain was 0-7 HT and amazingly ended 0-7 FT.

By the way, if you fancy a bet on the darts, I'd tip Mark Webster e-w at 28/1 in the World Grand Prix. Excellent double hitter and this tournament is a double start, couple that with his consistently good scoring and he's a value bet. Taylor HATES this tournament too, scraped past no-hoper Peter Wright 2-1 last night.
 
I'll probably go for an over 1.5 goals acca on the Euro fixtures this weekend.

Picked 20 games last weekend and only 2 were under. Was 120/1 for all of those.

Dont most bookies have a max acc size bet ? i.e Bet365 allow 14 selections max for an acc.

Are you sure those odds were for over 1.5 and not over 2.5 ?

Sounds roughly right, over/under 2.5 is usually a 50/50ish bet. 20 lots of 5/6 is 184,004/1 :o

I actually picked 22, so was 4 away not 2. Definitely over 1.5 goals and the odds are usually 4/11 and less.

I've never known a bookie to limit the number of picks in an acca before anyway? Quite often do a coupon in billy hills and the receipt slip is enormous.
 
Done a £2.50 double on 2 of those Norwegian/Swedish lower league games to be 0-0 at 1,155/1 and x £5 singles at 33/1, 30 mins in and no goals :)

On another note, Ladbrokes said they'd give me £50 free if I placed a £50 bet today. Did £50 on a Russian ice hockey game at 1/66 which won so I've stuck my £50 free on Mark Webster in the darts World Grand Prix at 25/1.

£1,250 if he wins, I like that. Taylor hates this format and Wade struggled last night, Webster performs when it matters.

Italy will have lots of fringe players busting a gut to stake their place at Euro 2012? At least that's what i'm hoping!
