Nexus Prime

The only thing I miss about my Nokia 5800 is the notification light(okay I miss Ovi Maps as well). It was so handy to just be able to glance across a desk or a table and see if a light was blinking; as opposed to picking the phone up turning the screen on, checking for messages and then finally turning the screen off again.

I don't have e-mails coming through my phone so if it were to blink it would only be for a text message or a phone call. For now I either have to have the ringtones on or check it at regular intervals, and to be honest I don't like doing either :p

It's not that bad. Just turn the screen on and glance at the notification bar. Let the phone turn itself off.

I am in 2 minds, sometimes I notice the flashing light and other times I don't to then see I've had a message or missed call when I want to check the time. I think people are blowing it out of proportion. It's nice to have and a shame that it might not have it but it isn't going to affect my choice in phone.

LED is useless if its in your pocket!

Vibrate + Sound is enough for me.

That's not what its for. It is to tell you, you've got a notification that you were not aware of. Maybe you were out of the room when you got a text and as you return you glance at your phone "oh it's flashing... I must have a text".

If you are at work and your phone sits on your desk on silent/vibrate all day, it is very useful.

I have never used that feature but can see how it would be VERY useful to me personally for text messages or missed calls, but it is just a tiny inconvenience if it isn't there. Best would be to have it there, with an option to switch off for those who don't need it. It won't put me off buying a phone though.

So over the SII you get an extra 100mAh, more internal storage, a higher resolution and bigger screen. Everything else seems to be a downgrade, correct me if I'm wrong please.

And NFC, and ICS.

I think the battery will probably end up being equal to or worse than the Galaxy S II as the screen is a bit bigger.

There isn't really anything there to get Galaxy S II users to jump ship, especially as they'll be getting an inferior camera.

Does anyone know what could have that 16MP camera then? What other phones are due out this side of Christmas from Samsung?

(I know MP count is not everything in a camera, just curious).
