Poll: Whos cancelled their BF3 Pre-orders and why?

Maybe I'll give it another try if a new map becomes available. I'm really really not enjoying my playing on Metro though.

I'm also bored of Metro now, but the game mechanics/gun play are good, we just need some different maps to play!

After my few rounds on Caspian, it really is amazing, Metro is in no way representative of what's on offer.

I really cant fathom why they chose to début BF3 with Metro :|

I cancelled mine back in may, didnt realise my card was to expire at the end of the month. Yet for some reason the game still shows in my games.

I cancelled my pre-order last night......

..... i then pre-ordered from a different site as it was £29.99 (£3 cheaper and usually delivered on /before release day with this site).

2. Cancelled because it isn't a real beta and is just for marketing purposes to fool the gullible sheep.

+1 to this, played the BETA and so far thought it was the biggest pile of crap I have played in a long time (Xbox 360!), gameplay is alright but the terrible visuals and insane amount of bugs really soured the experience, went back on Killzone II to remember what a FPS should be like when its done right.

also BETA three weeks before launch, with this amount of bugs is insane, going out on one to say its even buggier than Fallout, and that game is a giant bug at times! ;) MW3 for me, also boycotting MW2 because of lack of dedicated servers was well...stupid, because for the most part it was a good game that didn't flicker constantly, fall through the map, the list goes on!

Your loss.

It's been stated that the Beta was mainly to test back end server load and that the version we're all testing is much older than the current version of the game going to retail in a few weeks.

To be honest, if you cancel your pre-order because of bugs and glitches (fair enough if you just don't like it) then you're a retard. Simple.

i was going to get a new card and then get the game on release day, but i will now delay doing this untill i have seen the finished product on youtube/review sites/ocuk :)
i think that puts me under option 4?
not pre-ordered, was going to buy on release, but now 'on hold'

Sounds like you'll likely get it anyway so would be silly not to pre-order and get Back to Karkand for free.

Then why the hell would they give us an old client to test? The whole idea of a BETA is to test surely the most recent client and find out the bugs they don't know about. Not the ones they do know!

It will be a horrible game even at launch. Think about how solid the BF2 demo was and made you instantly want more.

I'm afraid that isn't usually the point of a multiplayer beta :P MP betas are usually to test netcode and server stress :) Bugs and glitches can be done internally. Sure they take note of anything newly discovered but that isn't the primary concern.

BTW did you get that ofp code bunyan? I trusted you it :)
