Finished putting together my i5 build.

For the past 3 years, I have been an AMD man.

Until recently, when I bought myself some new kit and converted to the i5 2500k.

Some pictures of my build, im pretty impressed with it so far. Absolutely loving the Corsair 400R case. Only problem I seem to be having is with my main HDD so a new one is being ordered tomorrow.

What do you think?

Very professional looking build. No glass panels or LEDS or any other tacky stuff people like to add-on. I love it when people keep it simple.

Also, how much did the whole thing cost if you don't mind me asking?

Which braided extension cables are those Damien, ie the 24 pin and pcie? Quite tidy looking braid.

@panyan; I know, I know. Was tempted to cut them off but it'd make removing and re-installing impossible then.

@nikeair94; Thanks for the comment. I do prefer the simple and clean approach. I dont really know how much it cost. I started off buying the 2 6970's for my Amd rig but my old CPU was causing a bottleneck in some games. Approx £1000 for the graphics cards, cables, cpu, mobo, ram, cooler and case.

@setter; They are the Akasa pre-braided cables, purchased from Ocuk.

I'm looking at the 500R and seeing your 400R makes me think I've made the right choice.

How are the fans? Looking to buy some 140mm for the 500R and the Akasa look nice, although, not keen on the neon yellow

The fans are amazing. I have them all on full whack and the noise isnt intrusive atall.

Almost the same, however I'm going for HIS 6950's in crossfire instead. What voltage/temp you got with 4.4ghz? I'm having issues with our board and vcore

I do like the look of the 400R. Very functional and not shouty. Looks good with vipers.
