Can I do better for £400 (HTC sensation contract)

What would be a better use of £400 than a HTC sensation with 400 any time mins any network, 1000 texts and 1gb internet, or am I at the right end of it being a decent buy?

It's a 12month contract which I like the idea of.

sounds good, just ordered a samsung galaxy s2 900 anytime minutes unlimited texts, 1 gb internet for a massive £24 a month

Why not? A lot of us actually prefer the Sensation over the plastic of the GS2. It's all down to preference really, both are good phones though.

Can you get the SGS2 for that money? I thought the Samsung was £180 on the 12 month Talkmobile contract, making it £540?

I think he's on about buying the phone sim free, then going for a cheap 12 month contract.

It's the route im thinking of taking, as it means £10pm with a cracking phone.

Then again i could be wrong.

400 mins, 1000 text and 1GB internet over 12 months at £30 a month with the phone for £50 is the currently available Talkmobile contract, and is £410 total cost, so I'm assuming thats what he was on about. Again, I may be wrong.

Yep, got it myself. £30 Quidco cashback available. I assume that works on the SGS2 so brings the total SGS2 price to £510

Still a 20% difference on a 12 month contract.

GS2 is still a great phone though, and I think the OP should at least try both phones out in one of the stores with a working model on display and then make a choice. I did that and prefered the Sensation.
