Did chapters 1-4 last night with a friend. So far it dosnt really feel like the trilogy's ending the last chapter has so much to wrap up.

Sawn-Off is OP atm as you can be looking almost 90 degrees away from your opponent and it'll still insta-gib 'em.
It needs the damage arc changing so that the further to the edges of the blast you are the less damage you take.
Well I bought this to play through on split screen co-op with a mate and having got to the end of Act 4 on our second session we are enjoying it although it doesn't feel quite as epic as the first two. There are few massive stand offs (maybe due to us doing a run through on Normal) and the CPU characters doing a run and gun across your line of fire every couple of minutes gets old. That said though, good purchase for me so far.
Online though... not really enjoying it. Seems to take an age to get into a game then randomly it loses connection to the host or signs me out of live (don't get this with any other games). When I do get into a game the play seems very static with one or two strategies being employed by the top players and some mismatched weapons. The sawn off feels very cheap to me so I don't use it, this may taint my view slightly but when I have someone running out of cover straight at me and I'm unloading the lancer into them they should be the one going down not simply soaking up the damage until they get in insta-gib range.
I was going to blindly buy the season pass assuming that each update would add SP content but I'm glad I haven't now.

The sawn off and the gansher needs modifying to make a decent shooter. The range of the sawn off needs halving and so does the gnasher.
Someone was picking the mortar up on thrashball from the stairs. I saw him came round the back and he was hitting me with the gnasher from the bottom of the stairs as I came through the doorway. Two blasts and he downed me before I got halfway down the stairs.
People don't even bother that much with rifles. Either reduce the range of double the stopping power on rifles. I don't expect COD but I do expect some weapon variation.
That said it is lovely to play a shooter where only once in days of playing have I thought I was on the end of a bad beat with lag.
I can't go back to playing P2P with how smooth this runs with dedicated servers

I've only had 1 game of this online so far but I completely agree with you about the rifles and how smooth this runs. The rifles are basically useless you're not going to down anybody with them unless they are standing still for 3 or 4 solid seconds which nobody ever does and because of this everybody is forced to use shotguns there doesn't seem to be a lot of variation in weapon choices because of that right now.
With that being said the online feels so nice on this, silky smooth =)
I'm curious in horde mode can you only level things up by doing them? i.e. I can only level up decoys by building and repairing them or once you max out one it counts toward another or something random like that?
You're correct.
what distance? the range on standard rounds is not great to begin with, if its a perfect reload then I think the added range is fair. The sawn off however is infuriating, you could be doing everything right in a one on one until they pop this out and run at you.

some people that have the first 2 have wondered whats been going gone on but for people that have read the karen traviss books like myself the story is understood pretty well

anyone know how to turn off big head mode?, my nephew was playing around with the game earlier and i'll be damned if i know what setting he's changed....
