I think Phillies will win the Baseball game by a few runs tonight -1.5 looks good on paper as the best pitcher in MLB in my view(Roy Halladay who threw a no hitter vs St Louis who they have tonight in 2010) is playing.Only thing is though St Louis have been great lately so i am not confident enough to do it lol and especially after football has been crap to bet on the last few weeks.
£10 on Sweden, Denmark and France treble
Halladay had a good game but the Phillies offence has been AWOL since they wrapped up the NL East and they paid the price for it tonight.
I was gonna stick £20 on the Phils but hesitated because despite a disappointing season I rate Chris Carpenter highly, glad I didn't now. Saving my bets for UFC 136 tomorrow night anyway.
Gutted that the Dbacks lost, but this season has been amazing for us so I can't complain.
Could any matched betters help me please?:
Right, Bet770 have paid me my £70 free bet but I can only claim the winnings if I bet 3 times the amount with odds over 1.5. Could I use a matched betting calculator and try to engineer a result that would likely mean the lay bet would win with some profit? And if it doesn't just continue do a matched bet until I reach the threshold or my lay bet wins?
Normally I use FTO but it claims it's complete so I have to do it manually/separately.

In a situation where you need to 'turn over' a free bet before you can claim winnings I'd be tempted to just bet on something with long odds and lay it elsewhere. Chances are your free bet will lose which means you don't have to worry about turning it over any more. Obviously with a £70 free bet you may need deep pockets to lay it but I'd guess if you are doing matched betting this shouldn't be a problem.
As a general point I think it is better to use free bets on long odds anyway since you usually don't get the stake back, so you want the stake to be as small a proportion of the return as possible.
