Reading the thread title, you'd think somebody had lost their mind....

Concourse RS16i , with only 1,914 miles from new £27,500

Here we have somthing very special ,,,A ford RS16i that has covered less than 2,000 miles from new and is totaly standard and unrestored ,,, The car has the std sterio / exhaust etc etc and even still has then gen Dunlop D4 tyres that it left the factory with

This car is the lowest miles RS16i recorded with the RSOC and the previous owner was the rs16i registrar

The car has all its paperwork / service books etc ( altho the service book is unstamped as the car has never covered enough miles to have been serviced ) ,, The car is just mind blowing and is perfect in every way ,,,the car has no MOT as it is used as a show car only but 12 months MOT can be put on the car if required ,,,,the car can be viewd ( by apointment only ) in essex

Do you think they'd get it?

I had one, just like that (albeit a tad scruffier ;) ) around 14years ago, let it go for £1k!:p

Sorry if a pea roast.

I'd be very surprised if the oil was never changed, i always did my Capri oil every 6 months even if it had only done 300 miles in that time.

I can kinda see the appeal, but not for that amount of money. I would prefer a red one tbh.

These were the precursor to the RSTs so it will always have a place in Ford history.

If that's what he wants for that car, the black series 1 RST that was owned by Dianna must have a really hefty price tag on it.

I don't doubt your knowledge for one minute but why are service schedules mileage or time based?

Because the dealer gets paid for an oil change?

Services should say "We want £100 off you every year, regardless of the mileage you've done".

I never see the point in someone buying a car, then just sitting polishing it to within an inch of it's life, and use cotton buds to clean the grills and tread in the tyres etc. Sure I like to keep my car clean, but I also like to use it for what it was designed and intended... which is driving, not being an expensive paperweight. I don't think I'll ever understand it tbh.
