I know it's sort of early to be thinking about this sort of stuff but my mum finally has (well soon to have) her separate dinning room she always wanted and with this comes a christmas tree.
In the lounge we have a very traditional real tree, old wooden ornaments, class baubles, things collected over 25+ years. But thinking of a second tree a fake one would be better =[
Yearly it would cheaper, but annoyingly she doesn't want to spend the money in the first place to get a decent specimen! Well not £200 for the ones in costco we saw today!
Anybody have any recomendations?

There's this one from argos, that looks to have a narrow spread and be fairly thick (so it doesn't resemble green coat hangers). Anybody have any recomendations?
Also on the subject of christmas. I bought LED tree lights last year from B&Q. We use a timer so the problem is everytime the come back off the mode resets (it has say 12different modes). Anybody think it would be possible to modify it so it's constantly on the solid non flashing mode?
