Hello, new forum member here wondering if i could get get a litte help/advice please?

I've looked around a few sites but this seems the best one to ask on.

I've needed a new computer for a while now but not really had the money to get one until now. I've never put together a computer before but i'd like to gve it a try.
I'm not not particlarly knowlewdgeable on computer hardware so i was wondering if someone could reccemend a decent build for me to put together.
My budget isn't the best, £500 maybe upto £600 at a push but that also includes the cost of an OS but not a monitor, mouse or keyboard (will be getting those in a few weeks time).
I mianly plan on using it for gaming.

Any advice would be much appreciated, thank you.

also ive put in a motherboard and PSU that can cope with crossfire, which makes for a great upgrade path

as an added bonus you get a ton of free games with this build:
modern warfare 3
dirt 3
deus ex

i was trying to get the 560Ti in the build rather than the 6870, but it wouldnt get anywhere near budget unless i went with the bitfenix merc alpha, which would have been fine for the single card, but quite toasty with two in there so i went for the 8GB RAM upgrade instead

Thanks for he suggestions.

It's hard trying to decide what to go with now.

I could probably stretch the budget a little more so would you suggest swapping the GTX 460 in Stulid's build with the 6870 that Reaper suggested and going with the 8GB of RAM too.

Get the i5 2500K its a quad core CPU and allows you to overclock. The i3 2100 is nether.
