Hi,
Moving into my new home in just over a week and currently trying to sort out net and tv.
We unfortunately live the farthest from the exchange so speeds will be so poor any adsl line will not be worth investing.
Now im happy going cable that's fine and BT/VM are available in the area - it seems VM are cheaper (and better) when it comes to the 50MB lines so thats sorted
The catch is that i don't think i want VM TV compared to sky given that the selections a little random and small plus i need ESPNA HD which VM dont do though there's the hope they will in future.
so I guess my question is who has gone from sky to virgin and how does it compare? do you miss anything?
anyone got the new tivo stuff? seems a lot of hype over the equiv of a fb like button.
im asking because it can save my over £20 not going with sky but i don't know if il just get annoyed at VM tv
