Merlin Season 4

So how many people jumped the first time one of those dead spirits came on screen?

I thought they sounded quite terrifying. I bet some kids will be having nightmares tonight.

On a less positive note, what was the point of that cliffhanger at the end? The preview for next week immediately after ruins it.
 
I thought it was okay, a bit darker than the last series which is nice.

Agree with this, don't feel like I need to watch next week's anymore.
 
My wife and I both enjoyed the start of the new series, far preferring the grittiness of it compared to the infantile shenanigans on the (also pretty good) previous series :p.

Unfortunately the fashion these days seems to be to give away far too much of the next episode, Spooks being another guilty party.
 
Something crap to replace the crapness of Dr Who for a while :)

Hopefully there will be a few good episodes, i like John Hurt Dragon omes.
 
I really like merlin, this series seems especially good. Tbh I just like this time of year so much easy to watch tv
 
Im so glad, it looks as though its getting back to what I really loved. I just love medieval style programmes.... Though game of thrones..... oh dear, i didnt likey
 
I'm enjoying this and I'm surprised at the amount of genuine advancement in the plot there has been so far.

SPOILERS.

It's only been four episodes and we've already had two significant character deaths, arthurs coronation and now the birth of a dragon. Things are coming along nicely i think.
 
Merlin is a family night thing, we all make an effort to be together in the living room and within 5 seconds I realised who the actor was playing the egg hunter but I got a ribbing from the missus lol:

Me: "HA HA ITS BALTAR!"

Missus: "Why do you always bloody talk when this is on?"

I cant help it lol. My son didnt help matters when he started reading off ways merlin would cook the egg or how gutted he would be if he dropped it lol

Yeah, it's really got a lot better and I make a point of watching it now. :)
 
Its way better than the last series, better story progression, more action and darker more interesting story lines.

Unlike last series when there were some absolutely terrible episodes, this series has n't had a single bad one yet.

i remember thinking arthur would never be king :p

wish merlin would stop beeing such a wimp and just come out that hes got magicka and hes used it to save arthurs life atleast a dozen times , probably going to be waiting until morgana dies in seriies 8 hthen merlin comes out the closet in series 12
