You kinda want the bit of white space on the left, and not just chop it completely.

Erm, I did think of that but there is a chair there so it'll be quite hard to do it properly.

I've never really had any positive results with content aware, but just for a laugh I had a look to see what happens with this photo and it put another chair in her place. Was quite impressed although the curtain above the new chair still needed some fixing.
