OK so I was using the BETA drivers for a MSI GTX 460 Twin Frozr II 1GB, the drivers I was using were GeForce 285.38 Driver (for BF3). I was doing some graphics in photoshop and all of a sudden my screen goes black and back to normal, then windows said something about display driver. It happened around 3-4 times before all of a sudden a BSOD.

Uploaded the minidumps - http://puu.sh/6Iqy (14/09/2011 - never BSOD before so I don't know why this is here)

I'm going to say it was the Nvidia BETA drivers but I just want to play it safe. I'll update this once I wake up. Oh before I forget.

I'm on a Q6600 @ stock, 2.4ghz. 8GB of kingston ram, 1066mhz. MSI GTX 460 Twin Frozr II 1GB. Also I'm running W7 prof, 64bit.

Code:
Probably caused by : nvlddmkm.sys ( nvlddmkm+1f81bd )
Those are the Nvidia drivers, I would suggest going back to the 'stable' drivers for now. Dump file and the crash log you uploaded points directly at those drivers so.

As for the other BSOD, well you can get them while turning PC off, while turning it on. So might have never noticed it. Though the dump file
Code:
Probably caused by : hardware
X64_0x124_GenuineIntel_PROCESSOR_BUS_PRV

Thanks for clearing it up mate. Already on the stable drivers, as soon as it happened I thought it was the BETA drivers. Thanks a lot.

No problem, I had one a couple of days ago. The same day as installing my new card and the beta drivers. Turned out to be a memory_corruption cause though. Ran 15 hours of memtest, no errors though, so not sure myself :p

I'm used to getting them though :p

Out of interest what sort of setting / performance were you getting on BF3 as your system is very similar to mine.:)

I can't remember all of my settings but I had everything on high and one or two thing on ultra with 4x anti aliasing and was getting a nice 45 FPS. If I spent time to mess with settings I probs could have got more.
