I wouldn't say so no. Considering you can get phone insurance from a very good company for less that also covers it being lost or stolen.

Edit: Rossi be careful with that case cos I just had a look at an unboxing on Youtube and it says because the 4s' mute switch is located at the same spot as the Verizon iPhone it won't fit.

The position of the vibrate switch matches that of the Verizon iPhone 4 on all models of the 4s. I.E. lower than that of the AT&T version. The TRIM is designed for the AT&T model.

I'm looking to get a clearcoat to cover my 4S and then a pull pouch style case.

Still deciding which one.

They are good, but due to tolerances in design and materials used, if not used carefully (yes, protective device used carefully) they often suffer from stress related issues in months (there are many threads on macrumors and other forums about these)

This shouldn't discourage you, if you want one though, just know their limitations - they are not the kind of cases you can remove more than few times in lifetime, the weak spot is charger point which is designed to have fraction of a mm tolerance around original charger plug and will break if used often with fatter third party docks or car cradles. Lovely case though. If only they used better material for the band than plastic....

Re: slip cases and hearing the phone go off....captain obvious stuff but just put the phone in top first and case top down in your pocket so the speaker is pointing upwards. Doing this also means you don't end up pressing the buttons when you pull it out of the case as well.

Are there other alternatives to the iPhone 4 Invisible Shield by Zagg?

Something that is easier to fit on the phone and will not attract dust/possibility of getting bubbles?

Small change left from £34 at a known rain forest store which cannot be linked to as they are competitor to OCUK in other fields than mobile phone accessories. Keywords to search "SGP Leather Pouch Vintage Edition Brown Flat for Apple iPhone 4"

To be honest, no. But we are assuming the difference based on Apple store pictures. I suppose we'll find out for sure on Friday.
I may buy a really cheap case to protect it in the meantime

Probably wise. I think these case manufacturers might be guessing about their products' 4S compatibility.

I'm actually not sure where that information is but a lot of people (especially in the US where they have 2 models of the 4) seem convinced the 4s is based on the Verizon model.

The Switcheasy website lists the Trim as suitable for iPhone 4 / iPhone 4s. If its not then its not fit for purpose and gets sent straight back?
