Hell!! \m/
Ok it began when something happened and I nearly died and was rushed to hospital for a few days. My room is a loft and did have a locking door which my sisters, fighting - broke - I have one now.

Anyway there was some money left about and she took a huge chunk £1300 ish. I just wanted to know why and for it all back - I was nice. Since then she's tried £2500 and on holiday she had £400 in her purse. My dad just passed away an if I knew I had all/more money I'd donote more to it as it's costing £3.5k

What is funny is she has a new netbook now and I reckon a stash in my room.

All my money I keep now in a safe - always and lock the door. I might even setup a trap and have a webcam record it. Seee her grabbing more.

She NEVER leaves her room. Ever. Sometimes to come shopping to Asda so next time I might drive back and snoop and get spying software on her laptop as she causes a lot of problems I know of. She is 16 too. If I monitor her netbook then I can see her account names and I know most of her passwords and she if she's buying anythnig. My mum has looked too a lot in her room. When I find it and take it off her, we draw a line and it happens again - stop being the nice guy?

At the momemt we both don't get on because of this. There's NO underlying reason for this that's the thing not like she is a drug addict or really needs money to pay people back.

What would you'se do?

Block her MAC address on the router - the boredom will set in, she will kick off and leave her room. From then on, raid it.

Or just deck her.

I'd seriously lose my rag if a family member was stealing. Why did you have such a large amount of cash and how did she know you had it?

Has she paid the £1300 back? If not, do as above, take that ****ing laptop. She deserves a slap!

Your post doesn't make much sense, she tried £2500 on holiday? She has a stash in your room?

Sorry to hear about your father.

You're her big brother, get into her room, sit her down and have a serious talk with her. No need for all this spy/gadget stuff. Get things done the way your father would have gotten things done, the old-fashioned way.

Yup go in do whatever it takes, no one would dare steal anything when im around.

Zero tolerance, only way she'll learn.

I found your post very confusing/hard to read.

Any-who, why the **** did you have THOUSANDS of pounds in your room?

If my little sister (whom I love dearly /gay) stole £1300 from me I'd not rest until it was returned.
Hell, I'd probably go to the police straight away about it and they'd tell me I was a complete retard for keeping thousands of pounds in my bedroom.

if i were you, i'd put the rest of it in the bank, then take some of her stuff to sell, unless you have loads of money, work in a bank, depends how well off you are..i'd maybe let her off

The police? really? this is your little sister we're talking about, its nothing that serious communication can't sort out, surely.

If the communication doesn't do it, let the confiscation commence.

Stick vitamin d software on an old pc with a webcam kept in your room, you can setup so it will record everytime the door opens and it recognises someone, amazing.

Deck her still though, does your mum know you suspect her? Tell her!

If you're so rich that you leave >£1300 lying around in cash in an unsecured room, why do you care?

Since then she's tried £2500 and on holiday she had £400 in her purse.

She's tried £2500? What does that mean?

A stash of what? You say she NEVER leaves her room.

All my money I keep now in a safe - always and lock the door. I might even setup a trap and have a webcam record it. Seee her grabbing more.

What would be the point? You're already sure she's stealing from you, so what good would video do unless you're planning on having her arrested?

She NEVER leaves her room. Ever. Sometimes to come shopping to Asda so next time I might drive back and snoop and get spying software on her laptop as she causes a lot of problems I know of.

Then she might be able to have you arrested on a misuse of computers charge. Which might end badly if she does have a stash in your room and it's a stash of something illegal. If she tells the police it's yours, how could you prove it isn't?
