IKR! And then to be worrying that Ivybridge will be cheaper and kill my i5 and my GTX570 will be a heap of turds when the 6 series comes out....... ffs

I can hear it sizzling at the edges now ;)

To keep your sanity and budget in check i would get the 2500k and a middle of the road quality branded MB (as they all pretty much clock the same) coupled with a great value 560i.

Less money spent thus making any future leaps in technology less annoying as you will have got great bang for buck now.
 
Get the Silver Arrow already, you won't regret it :P. Near silent if you don't OC and still quiet and a brilliant performer when you overclock. Absolutely no compromises!
