Yeah Ive got that habit too, if you actually look at the link I posted it was showing a difference then nearly 4 years ago, or do more up to date cards actually do less and use less

Something about the 4x when running trifire on the third Gen 3 Z68 MSI GD80 board.

I said it didn't make much difference, and by the time it did, it'd be twice the bandwidth (PCI-E 3.0).

The 6950 wouldn't be awfully sluggish now would it? The faster GTX480 isn't awfully sluggish at 4x in the slightest.

I don't understand the leaked benchmarks. They HAVE to be wrong, AMD wouldn't try selling it at that price if it couldn't compete with SB at all.

This is just a bad case of Pre BD Tension. It will all be gone tomorrow and we can all revel together in either joy or misery but if the build up is anything to go by my bet is on further uncertainty.

In fact I'm going to point to the elephant in the room and say this. With so little coverage and so few benchmarks less than 24 hours before the products meant to be out AND the fact that we've not even had a small smattering of decen benchmark leaks. I'm going to say that BD won't come out tomorrow and in fact there is a further delay
