To celebrate Sebastian Vettel's winning of the Formula 1 World Drivers' Championship, the Red Bull X2010 is now available for free to all players for one week.

In order to claim the car all you have to do is log into GT5 and follow the instructions given in the game. Moreover there is also a special challenge around Suzuka with the chance to win 5 million credits with the limited time Red Bull Seasonal Event.

The Suzuka event is very easy, golded it after not playing GT5 since January!

probably more to do with the fact that Vettel was crowned world champ at Suzuka. it's not like it's the first GT5 update/event as well as the fact that you can't play FM4 on a PS3 :rolleyes:

i have an xbox and still like to play GT5 - is that a crime?

Just booted up GT5 for the first time in about 6 months and downloaded all the updates etc. I can't see anything with regards to getting this car? Did you have to download it before upgrading to 2.0?

Your free X2010 will still be there! But it won't if you cancel the update and start up offline.

Thanks, I have hardly played this since buying it to be honest so didn't realise I had to go to the community section and accept the gift.....just tried the seasonal event in it, now that is ridiculous speed!

Ok just a question who earned one and also got sent one, in the one you just got sent did it look like Seb in the cockpit? Sure it wasnt him when i won my car a while back.

just had a check from when the car rotates in the garage

the one i won in the game has no one in the cockpit, nor does the free one.

It was only when you "cashed in" your car ticket, bloke in a cap sat in the cockpit sure it was seb, but he didnt have a finger in the air so maybe not.

im utter poop with the rb car, its insane fast, i tried the seasonal for it, got the bronze, tried for the silver/gold and i always mess up take a corner to quick the game invalidates my lap as i go off the track - i think some of the way it does that is OTT, i went round the last coner but hit the barrier just before the finish line lap invalidated - WTF

gonna keep trying before the event finishes tho

I've had the X10 since the games been out xD Golded the seasonal with over 15 seconds to spare first time on a pad.

You'll get used to it trust me! Oh and the 18th is a Tuesday!
