I currently have a GTX275 and game at 1366x768.
I quite fancy upgrading my GPU. My 275 isn't really struggling with anything, I just fancy a newer DX11 card.
I like the look of this EVGA Superclocked GTX460 on TO http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=18328181
I currently have a Q6600 @ 3.6Ghz and 4Gb ram.
I've been on to the TechArp GPU comparison and is has the spec for both card listed as follows, on std clocks:
GTX 275 896 MB
Texture Fill Rate: 50,650 MT/s
Pixel Fill Rate: 17,724 MP/s
Memory Bus Width: 448 bits
Memory Badwidth: 127 GB/s
GTX 460 1GB
Texture Fill Rate: 37,700 MT/s
Pixel Fill Rate: 21,600 MP/s
Memory Bus Width: 256 Bits
Memory Badwidth: 115.2 GB/s
So, is there any point in me upgrading from a GTX275 to a 460 at my lowly resolution?
Thanks.
