Why do people listen to Heart FM?

I have been subjected to this radio station for about 1 year for 1 hour each day, the presenters are incredibly unfunny and seem to think they are gods of knowledge about every subject.
This week topics include:
Why is windows 7 so bad?
When he clearly got mixed up with windows vista. Usually they have a question which lasts for a week which is about men/women and is usually stole off yahoo news. Most of the time when they are not playing terrible music, they have dull conversations where they dish out stereotypes about the opposite sex.
Do you know what the worst part is, TAKE THAT. They seem to play their music everyday, they also have a play-list which only consists of about 10 artists.

Why do people willingly listen to this monstrosity of a radio station?


n.b This radio station is forced upon me by my college bus.

I was forced for months to listen to that bol***** at work untill I finally convinced them to put radio 1 on and Heart's never been back since.

Because it's generic radio, which unfortunately is what you have to have in a work place.

Why can't there be a music and advert only radio station.
Other than the black hole(was it that) on radio1 which ended ages ago. Every other host is utter rubbish.
And don't been get me started on breakfast shows AARRGGGGHHHH.
 
I feel exactly the same. I simply cannot stand Heart FM, it makes my blood boil. One of my work colleagues listens to it everyday and it drives me mad. The same songs are played on a loop every 30 mins.

I don't know anyone who could ever laugh at the Heart FM jokes?
This was one of the jokes this morning:
Annoying guy:We are relocating on Monday
Annoying woman: Where
Annoying guy: Have you not heard about it? We are moving to royal wootton bassett.

( They are located in wootton bassett if anyone did not get the "joke")
 
Got a DAB radio for a relative and was really impressed with the selection, Jazz and Rock specifically catered for!

Why aren't they standard in cars?

I think it is cool to hate. Like it is cool to hate Vista even though it wasn't that bad (and was much better than XP (for the home market)).

Regarding Heart, it is one of the radio stations that I have programmed into my car radio (along with Magic) for when there are other people who want music. It's generic station that serves to please enough people. I prefer to have silence or classic/radio 3 if the traffic is bad.
