Have you sorted the issue with your Asus board yet? Was it overheating on the NB or something?
I'd say stick with the X3 for now or source a cheap 955BE
Edit: Huge audio![]()
Either way, it's going to be brought off eBay from China and arrive broken.![]()
bulldozer fx 8150 or stick with my x3 720 (not got too much £££) and if i stick with an x3 720 im going car audio set-up in my bedroom,, witch would you prefer?
ebay can be good, but no my asus is still bricked, and my ram is most probably aswell, and one of my raptors broke so i cant use a 36gb hdd for long, just sold my bike (e.g im getting paid like £345 next week, and when i say huge audio, i mean a 10" 750 car amp and sub combo with a few good pairs of speakers
ahha well you have missed countless threads of amusement, long story short i bought a load of trash and wasted a load of money now i need a new hard drive and motherboard and ram, but i have money left over for bulldozer, but i could get a audio system instead, what would be better in you're opinion

the bulldozer benchmarks are in, and they're pretty rubbish tbh. the i5 2500k beats them pretty much everywhere and is cheaper.
i think the best thing to do with your money since your motherboard and RAM are broken is to sell the processor (i assume this works) and get an i5 2500k, Z68 motherboard and 4-8GB RAM from a reputable dealer
something like this will be great, and if you buy it from OcUK it is either going to work out of the box or you will be able to RMA it or send it back under DSR if it doesnt work or you dont like it

This audio system is for a car right? you are not going to try and run a automobile 12V system in your bedroom or something?
