I have Pirelli PZeros on the back of the Z4, they've lasted about 12,000 miles and need changing soon. Not been all that impressed with them in all honesty so won't be buying them again.

Choices are:

Goodyear Eagle F1 - £185.16 each
Continental Sport Contact 3 - £191.17 each
Continental Sport Contact 5 - £195.44 each

Tyre size is 255/35 R18 Z.

Is there anything major between these options apart from £10 in price?

Black Circles is trying to flog me "Hankook Ventus V12 Evo K110 @ £166.28 each", which is obviously a saving of £60 on the CS5s, but I'm happy to pay the extra if the tyres are better.

I went for F1 Assy 2s on the front of my Z3 last month and I'm very impressed.
Instead of understeering everywhere I'm oversteering.

Can't go wrong with the F1s or the CS3s tbh, but don't expect any more life out of them than the PZeros.
That's what you get if you want max grip.
Make sure you get F1 Assy 2s if you go for Goodyear though.

I have F1's on the front and they've been good (although I don't think those are 2s).

The ones for £185.16 each are 2s though, so that's alright.

I just replaced all four tyres on the 330CI with F1's and all I can say is that the f1's are immense. Brillant dry/wet grip and good feeback through the wheel. And i am the same as mjt oversteering everywhere :p

I would go with the CS5's I had them on the back of one of my cars and I was very happy with them.

I had a set of F1's in the past which to be honest I was just as happy with.

does anyone know if Yokohama Advan Sport V103 are any good? I have been offered a pair of 19" rears for 240 pounds inc fitting which sounds like a good price to me.

I've got CS3's on my Z4 and i'm very pleased with them. I didn't think they cost quite that much though? One of mine had a split in the wall and I replaced it for £130 fitted I think.

Falken 452's are a popular choice over on Z4-forums, if you want to save a bit of cash.

Not so widespread on M's though, not sure why. Seems to be less "fashionable"
But there does seem to be a trend for not using the Conti CS3's when replacements are needed.

Falkens will be fine if budget is a concern. Otherwise, consider the Vred Ultrac Sessanta. Don't mix directional with Asyms though, it makes for some right poo pant moments for the first few k miles.
