Want to download this but the download link on their forum seems to be down.

I found something called Falcon BMS 1.03 on a "website" but not sure if thats it, its about 60mb.

I remember this game it had 250+ page manual such a beast of a game

this mod is very impressive looks much better

600 pages, written by actual pilots too. The tactics they discuss in the manual are straight from USAF flight schools.

Edit: You will be a copy of Falcon 4.0 should be able to get it under £10 and the BMS 4.32 mod

F4 - Allied force will not work, you need the original F4 for BMS 4.32

Wow I never expected anyone on here to play it so I never posted. I am a LONG time Falcon pilot. Owned it since it came out which was in 98 or 99 I think. The new BMS 4.32 mod is an insane improvement.

If anyone wants to fly online give me a shout

Forget the fact that the graphics are not today's standards by far, but this was originally DX 6

The best feature of it, other than the insane level of detail and realism, is the real time dynamic campaign. No scripted missions like DCS!

Indeed. You even get the kind of intel you'd expect to see in real life military HQs, like satellite reconnaissance images and orders of battle.

I loved this game and loved my Cougar. Sadly I just couldn't dedicate enough time time to it so both the Cougar and the TrackIR went.

Has to be said I was **** at the game though lol

Shame we'll probably never see a simulator like it again.

I loved 4.0 when it came out, but I've never played a game that was so tough on my hard drive. Even my PC circa. 2006 spent ages loading a mission. I wonder if an SSD would handle it. I still have the original...

I was much better at Falcon 3.0 tbh.

Oh I don't know, DCS is pretty decent and implementing Dynamic campaign is a goal for the series (albeit a long term goal)

BMS runs very well on my modest system, I wouldn't be worrying about performance.

Good Question I can only find Falcon 4.0 allied alliance, and I have lost my original boxed of 4.0 :mad:

Might dig mine out, I too had the full original version with it's epic manual. This looks great, probably like most flight sims of a proper nature I will fail to be able to give it the time, but hey ho.
